1.Date of the board of directors resolution or date of occurrence of the change:2018/06/25 2.Type of personnel (chairman or general manager):General Manager 3.Name and resume of the replaced personnel: Ming-Jiunn Jou, the director and general manager of Epistar Corporation 4.Name and resume of the new personnel: Chin-Yung Fan, the vice president of Epistar Corporation 5.Type of the change (please enter: “resignation”, “conge”, “tenure expired” ,“position adjustment”, “dismissal”, “retirement”, “death” or “new appointment” ):position adjustment 6.Reason for the change: The company is endeavoring to promote semiconductor foundry business, thus Mr. Ming-Jiunn Jou will be transferred to and be a general manager of Jing- Cheng Semiconductor Co., Ltd. which is 100% owned by the company. 7.Effective date of the new appointment:2018/07/16 8.Any other matters that need to be specified: The purpose of internal job position adjustment is to comply with the spin-off of the semiconductor foundry division of the company; Mr. Ming-Jiunn Jou will leverage the company’s unique core technologies on epitaxy and die processing to focus on the development of semiconductor foundry business such as VCSEL and GaN on Si power electronic components to increase the aggregate revenue, profitability and return on equity (ROE) of the EPISTAR Group to create maximum value for shareholders, customers, suppliers and employees. Epistar 1.0 is constituted by two general managers ; Dr. Biing-Jye Lee, the current Chariman of EPISTAR leads the first 10 years then Dr. Ming-Jiunn Jou served in the next 10 years and responsible for the company's operations. In Epistar 2.0, Chin-Yung Fan will undertake the role to be the general manager of EPISTAR. Mr. Chin-Yung Fan has abundant and complete experience who currently serves as the deputy general manager of the Sales and Marketing Center and has worked in EPISTAR for 20 years, he has experienced the company’s AlGaInP and InGaN product manufacturing, quality management and marketing and is one of the long-term management talents cultivated by the company. His outstanding leadership will play an important role in Epistar 2.0. He is responsible for managing the company and leading the development of LED and long-wavelength laser epitaxy business to create a new era of EPISTAER by seamlessly integrates his talents and experience to bring another record height performance. |
