On March 9th 2011, Epistar was informed by the corporate director, UMC, that

the current representative Mr. Shih Wei Sun had resigned from the board of

directors since March 7th,2011. UMC is not assigning the successor to fill

in one of the two directors from UMC. The remaining position will be decided

by the election in the AGM this year.
